Tadmarton is an attractive village with a church dating back to Norman times boasting a very fine old font more than 600 years old.

The Lampet Arms is a free house owed and run by Mike and Dawn Francis, it is approved by CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) and listed in the Good Pub Guide. Mike has often been complemented for the quality of his beer.

HOME COOKED FOOD: The Lampet Arms also serves a range of home cooked snacks and meals, from a bar menu of freshly prepared food. Typical fare available includes:- Steaks - Gammon, Fillet or Rump Chicken Kiev Roast Chicken Chicken Korma Lamb Shank Beef & Ale Pie Chilli Con Carne Cod -Scampi Lite Snacks - Sandwiches and Baguettes.

As you would expect in an Oxfordshire village pub, we play traditional bar games - darts, dominoes, Aunt Sally and Quiz league. The Lampet Arms domino team are members of the historic 'Top of The Hill' dominoes league. We also play the traditional local game of Aunt Sally - a game a little like skittles - which started in North Oxford at the time of the Civil War FOOD, BEER, FINE WINE & SPIRITS.

The heart of the hotel is the bar, stocked with a range of well kept traditional cask ales and a selection of fine wines. The bar area retains many original features including 2 open fires. The wide screen TV shows major sporting events.

GAMES: Why not relax to a game of Pool, Darts, Dominoes or Cards whilst enjoying a drink or listening to your favourite music on our well stocked juke box!

ACCOMMODATION: There are 4 guests rooms all of them en suite and with remote control TV, direct dial telephone and tea/coffee making facilities. Awarded 3 diamonds by the AA, the spacious rooms occupy a beautifully converted coach house with private access and good parking facilities. Rooms can sleep up to 4 people:
