Established in 1999, Mums The Word was founded by Emma Kavanagh, also a mother of two children.

In 1987 Emma qualified as a nanny and has since had many happy years as a live in/out nanny, helping parents with their little ones.

Mums The Word enjoys a 'hands on' approach with a personal service.

Over the years parents and nannies have come back to Mums The Word, opting for the friendly quality service offered to them.

We place nannies all over Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Berkshire and in the surrounding counties.

All nannies are interviewed and references followed up and checked

Emma runs a fabulous agency which not only helped us find an amazing nanny at very short notice, but also provided us with friendly reassurance at what could have been a very stressful time. I would highly recommend Emma and her agency to all.

Mums the Word

I used Mums the Word twice in six months to find a nanny, and Emma was unfailingly helpful, calm and effective. We love our nanny too! I would not hesitate to recommend this nanny agency.
