  This has now changed to a "portuguese" place... from the takeaway "panini" I just ate / threw away, it won't be around for long. Not as described on the menu, questionably fresh, and not nice to eat.

• Cafe Messina

  Cafe Messina is the BEST place to dine. The Cafe's food is traditional Sicilian and always freshly prepared on the day. Laura makes the greatest coffee's and cake's, she is also the friendliest manageress. The staff are very welcoming and happy, and the chef Tony is extremely talented, infact there has never been a dish that I haven't liked. The place is generally lively and great for families, depending on the time you go otherwise extremely relaxing. I would certainly recommend Cafe Messina to everyone!!!

  I came once for a coffee and kept coming back for the food. The fact that the cook is Italian makes all the difference. In a world full of chain gastro pubs and egg and chips, this place is such a relief. If you like great food give it a try, if you want greasy rubbish, go elsewhere.
