About Us

The business was founded in 2005 and offers a bespoke design and hat making service to individuals. The business specializes in offering beautiful hats/fascinators and hair accessories mainly for special occasions- Mother of the Bride/Groom, Bride/bridesmaid, Ascot/Race meetings, cocktail parties/proms etc. All creations are totally unique and created especially for each client, ensuring that your hat compliments your outfit perfectly and fits you properly. Hats are all made using traditional millinery techniques, such as hand blocking and sewing. Consultations are free and can be arranged by appointment- can also be flexible to suit you, including evenings and weekends. Clients are welcome to visit the showroom to view/try on different hat styles. The business is proud to offer a friendly service in a relaxed environment, come and discuss your ideas over a cup of tea or coffee! Just introduced a new range of hand made beaded jewellery.

Asiana Wedding Magazine photo Shoot

Asiana Wedding Magazine recently approached me to feature a number of my hair accessories and fascinators in the Winter Edition of the magazine. I selected 12 of the most appropriate pieces for the shoot- they were predominantly looking for small bridal hats/hair pieces/fascinators; I chose two of my favourite mini hats with beautiful veiling, rich colours/textures; some of my hair combs were inspired by the rich exotic colours and bead-work from India- so I felt these were a perfect choice; , and some more slightly unusual pieces, I found some of the more sculptural fascinators for this one.... so looking forward to seeing some wonderful images!

Up and coming shows exhibitions

Come and have a look at the beautiful range of millinery including, hats, fascinators and hair accessories. I will also have a range of jewellery on display which can be purchased on the day, or if you don't find the perfect piece for you then why not get a piece commissioned especially for you! I willl be exhibiting at the Thame Show in Oxfordshire on Setember 17th 2009.

NEW RANGE OF JEWELLERY INTRODUCED!

Delighted to introduce a new range of bespoke beaded jewellery, featuring necklaces, earrings and bracelets. The collection incorporates sterling silver, silver plate, glass and semi-precious stones, and items can be tailored according to customer preference and budget. I will be delighted to attend any craft shows/parties pamper evenings and fundraising events, and can show both jewellery and millinery. The business offers free no obligation consultations, please call to arrange an appointment. A range of hats/fascinators and hair accessories are on display in the showroom. Hats and head pieces are all unique, and designed especially for each client, ensuring that it matches the chosen outfit and fits the head perfectly. All hats and accessories are made in the Oxfordshire workroom. The business also offers a re-modelling and repair service to existing hats- please phone for more information.

  Having always been fussy about wearing hats or anything in my hair I wasn't keen to even though the special occassion was my Mum's wedding! However, once I saw and tried on the fascinator that Jayne had made for Mum I really, really wanted Jayne to make something bespoke for me to match my dress. To say I was pleased with the end product is an understatement, it really made the whole outfit and having taken the time to match all the delicate feathers and beads to the colours of my dress the outfit would not have been complete without it. I can't reccomend Jayne's product and professional approach to the end result enough. So, for all you ladies that never wear anything in your hair....try it....you might be suprised :O)

  The fascinator Jayne created for my daughters wedding in September finished off my look and complimented my outfit perfectly! It was admired by friends and family throughout the day. Nothing was too much trouble and the personal attention she gave me was very welcome. I would highly recommend Jayne and will definately be using her services in the future

  Having never been confident enough to wear a hat before, and then discovering that most hats did not fit me, finding the right hat for Ascot was more of a challenge than I had anticipated. Jayne was able to steer me in the right direction of what worked and what didn't. She listened to what I wanted and the resulting hat was a beautiful creation and fitted perfectly. I have now worn it to a number of occasions, and had numerous compliments at each one! I am now looking for another wedding outfit and am hoping that it will provide another excuse to have something made by Jayne. Thank you very much.

  Jayne designed and made me a hat to wear at Ascot last year. She was extremely helpful and patient and matched my dress wonderfully. The hat fitted perfectly, was very comfortable to wear which is really necessary when being worn all day. The service I received was excellent and I would thoroughly recommend Jayne to anyone looking for wonderful service with the personal touch.

  I first contacted Jayne approximately three years ago to design and make me a hat for Royal Ascot Ladies Day. The hat was absolutely fantastic, complimented my outfit beautifully, and received lots of compliments! I have since had a number of hats made, for other special occassions, and each one has been equally stunning.   Jayne made me a hair comb for a special wedding earlier this year. I had no idea of colour or style so needed lots of advice. Jayne was extremely helpful and patient, taking the time to look at my outfit and other accessories before advising me. The whole service was superb and the hair comb finished off the outfit just right. I would recommend Jayne to anybody whether they know what they are after or if they're not so sure and need some style tips.

  Jayne designed and made a gorgeous head dress for me last year when I attended a friend's wedding. I was absolutely delighted with the finished head dress, it was very comfortable to wear, worked perfectly with my hair stlye, and complimented by bridesmaid outfit. Jayne's approach was very friendly and professional, and I really felt that she gave me her full time to ensure that the head dress was exactly what I wanted, and that it suited me and felt comfortable to wear on the day. I would certainly recommend Jayne Elizabeth Millinery as a company, and Jayne to anyone looking to have a hat or head dress made for a special occassion.

  I contacted Jayne to make me a hat for my brothers wedding that took place in September this year. I found Jayne to be very helpful, she gave me loads of style ideas and what type of hat would suit me and the outfit I was going to wear. The hat was bespoke and simply wonderful, the service I had was timely and not too expensive. I would highly recommend using Jayne is you need a hat for your brothers wedding or anyones! Thanks!!
