  Have bought some plants from them over the last couple of years and they are excellent quality and very good value for money. An small but good selection as well, with all sorts of perennials, herbs and shrubs Obviously all 'home grown' from handwritten labels etc, but they are all still growing and flowering in my garden.

• Friendly and traditional

  This is a fabulous traditional family business. Don't come here to buy animals, as its pet supplies (especially good if you have a horse). They sell a bit of everything and have a small shop which is comprehensive. We go there all the time for ice-creams. Pity they don't sell beer. Matt

• Very friendly

  Heather and Trevor are extremely helpful and friendly. You won't be disappointed. This isn't a little pet shop with animals. It is "supplies" for your animals. So if you have a horse... There is also a little shop with bits and bobs, and we go there all the time to get ice-creams. If only they sold beer my life would be complete! Matt
