• Stellar job!

  I wasn't happy with a coat that I bought online (the arms were too big) and decided to get a tailor to make alterations to it. After seeing the positive reviews here I went to visit David Clarke. I have to say that I was very nervous about handing over my brand new coat (which wasn't cheap by the way), but he assured me that he would do a professional job. I got the coat back the following day and it was better than I thought it would be! Couldn't fault his work, and would recommend him to anyone.

• higly recommended!

  I had David Clarke make alterations to a rain coat. The fabric was not an easy one, and I must admit I was slightly worried about leaving it to a tailor. Mr Clarke's workmanship however proved to be impeccable. In addition, he was very service minded and pleasant to deal with.

  david clarke was able to provide an excellent service for me in my hour of dress alteration need! he was very concerned with doing a professional job and I would highly recommended to anyone. the shop is quite tucked away, you have to go into cafe creme in order to access his space upstairs. from my experience, if you bring your garments here i'm pretty sure you will be guaranteed a high quality and professionally finished end product
