Zero service, no show

I had called mr Jones for a repair on our fridge, for our small firm. He tried to convince me first it wasn't necessary for him to come by, but when I explained I could not fix it myself he agreed to come by next day at 11 am. At 11.30 I called him, as he didn't show up. He said he was still waiting for something, so I asked why he hadn't called to say he would be late. This was clearly a weird idea. He then said there wasn't a real problem with the fridge anyway (mentioning something clarifying he hadn't listened to the problem at all) and became rude. Then he plainly refused to come by - so I still have a fridge that doesn't work and might be a health hazard, and lost a day in finding someone to fix the problem.
