We viewed most of the catteries in our area to find the best one for our cat as she means so much to our family. Catisfaction stands out as well above the others: the accommodation for the cats is first class (clean, tidy, spacious, quiet) the staff are helpful and caring and the other cats there were clearly happy during their stay. Catisfaction meets our needs and we will continue to prefer it.
I am so angry after having been treated so shabbily by Catisfaction I feel moved to write this review. In spring we booked for our 2 cats to stay for a weekend in early August, having found that none of the people who usually look after the cats were available that weekend. The lady seemed friendly and nice enough. I contacted them by email, and they replied - we went to visit and made the booking. 3 days before we were due to go away my mum suddenly changed her plans and was able to look after the cats at home after all. I emailed Catisfaction to let them know this, to apologise for the late notice, and to ask if they had a cancellation fee. I received an automated response saying that they would respond within 24 hours - the same response as I had previously had when emailing them. When we returned from our break to discover that they hadn't replied, I emailed again - concerned that they had forgotten to reply (something they had done before), again asking if they had a cancellation fee. Again I received the automated response. After having heard nothing for a further week, I assumed that they weren't that bothered about a cancellation fee; otherwise they'd have replied to me - wouldn't they? Then I received a letter in the post from them informing me in very rude terms (such as you might use with a persistent debtor) that I had simply not turned up, had not contacted them, that they had telephoned me (a complete fabrication), and therefore they had no option but to charge a cancellation fee! I mean, hello!!! What did I just ask about twice in my emails to them? It's very rare that a business contact makes me furious - but to be told as fact that I had not contacted them, when I have the receipted emails to prove otherwise was unbelievable!! Most businesses would check their facts first before accusing customers of imaginary crimes. This does not make for satisfied customers, I assure you! After all, it can’t be that hard to check your inbox, can it? Especially if you assure customers that you do! Sheer laziness and ineptitude is the only explanation I can think of – followed by a big dollop of always assuming your customers are liars, and a healthy portion of unsolicited rudeness. Up to that point, I had been quite happy to send the cancellation fee if asked, and quite happy to book with them again. Not any more, no way!
My cat loves this place, I think she is always reluctant to come home. The staff are so accomodating as I travel a great deal for my job often at short notice. They always find room for her. I couldn't do my job if it wasn't for this wonderful place!
Catisfaction is like home from home for my cat. The staff are amazing and so accomodating. I travel a great deal for my job and at very short notice - they are always happy to find room for her. I think sometimes my cat would actually prefer me not to pick her up!
