  • 5 at last a really good cut

This is excellent; I was fed up with very expensive haircuts that were ...OK I always ask for Salua, I did have my hair cut there once by a guy (not Saleem) and he wasn't paying attention; it didn't suit me and Salua worked hard on her return to restore my hair to the standard she had set. She is great, has an eye and a real feeling for what suits you. And it's a sensible price...£22 without, £28 with blow-dry; I wouldn't want someone doing that good a job not to be decently paid, but it's much less expensive than any other I've been to in the area.

  • 4 great place

hair cuts are great and Salua (Saleem's sister) is excellent at threading eyebrows. price has increased from what is stated on this website. I go there regularly and find their service good.

  • 4 saleems

I also have my hair done every 6 weeks at saleems, i have been a regular customer for 2 years now and i honestly never leave disapointed. There is a friendly atmosphere and the standard of their haircuts is as good as the big name salons without the big price tag!

  • 4 Saleem's Unisex Hair Salon

I really like having my hair done at Saleem's, on Cowley Road. Saleem himself is a very friendly guy, a real family man- and whenever someone comes into the salon he seems to know them. The salon does not look amazing- but they do hair really well. I have a half-head of blonde highlights and a cut, and it always looks really good, a lot of people ask me where I have my hair done. It is always close to the roots, which is important with colour. It costs me £65. There are always lots of magazines to read. They really should improve the look of the salon- but I suppose that would mean higher prices; and they could do with more staff sometimes.
