Brief business description

For over 25 years Nicholson Nurseries has been supplying top quality trees, shrubs and herbaceous plants to farmers, landowners and the horticultural trade. Over time the business has expanded to include a comprehensive range of complimentary services, from forestry advice and contracting to landscaping, garden design and tree surgery. A new Plant Centre, selling direct to the public, opened in 2002.

  • 4 What a delight!

    Nicholsons isn't normally open on a Saturday, but it has been this spring, through April and May. My wife and I called in just before the Bank Holiday and spent a very pleasant hour or so choosing new shrubs and plants for the garden. The staff were hospitable, friendly and knowledgeable, and while the prices for some of the plants seemed a little high, the quality was excellent. Healthy, vigourous shrubs that look set to flourish now we've got them home. Certainly worth a visit.
