Honest Stationers sell a wide range of stationery items including ring binders, folders, cartridges and paper.
The shop itself is wonderful, a veritable treasure trove of stationary goodies, albeit slightly overpriced sometimes. But the manager is just plain awful, he is quite simply the least personable man I've ever met, never a smile, impatient to a tee (actually saying "Can't you make up your mind?!" when I pondered for 10 minutes or so over some products) and a rude, brash persona. Quite simply I refuse to buy anything else from this store until the manager/owner gets a lesson in people skills! Terrible service... ...plus he eats his earwax! Ugh!
Honest stationary is amazing, there's anything you want that involves the word stationary. Its local and has nice friendly staff. I love honest-stationery its a great place to get things for work or school!
So helpful, stock everything you need. Great customer service, reasonable prices, homely and welcoming.
It is a treasure chest and very good value. One thing which is very irritating is that customers are never given a bill. The addition is made on a calculator so there is no means to check the total and no ticket is issued, should the customer need to return a faulty item. Finally the manager is at times somewhat abrupt verging on rudeness.
The premises may be small, but this is the best little stationery shop anywhere. Unique cards and gifts sit aside every type of writing instrument, folder, binder, envelope or paper type you can dream of. An added bonus is the great selection of fun, colourful erasers, pencil cases, toys and stickers: perfect for kids' party favours and stocking stuffers. You need never go anywhere else!
They have amazingly cool, really individual greetings cards. I love the ones where foods have personalities. The one I bought my friend for her birthday had a picture of a biscuit and a potato with their arms around each other saying, "The biscuit is never really itself unless it's with it's friend the potato..' or something like that. They're very cute & good value.
