WARNING! LAW SOCIETY RULING

This firm has been censured by the Law Society in a devastating ruling, following a formal complaint by a client. The Legal Complaints Service investigated the complaint for 11 months and found the firm guilty of poor and inadequate service on 14 of 15 charges. The Law Society Adjudicator, David Honeybone, awarded the complainant the maximum compensation allowable in law, on 31st December 2009 (Decision - CRO/99248-2009). He stated: "It will be apparent from my findings that I consider that the position of Leport & Co is untenable. Their entire service was fundamentally flawed. I cannot think of a clearer situation where there has been a conflict of interests." He also stated that the firm had been guilty of "serious" failings. The Solicitors Regulation Authority has confirmed that the senior partner at the firm, John Leport, is currently under investigation in regard to issues of conduct.

Super to deal with!

I just found this site, so my review comes with a break of a few months since my dealings with Leport & Co. I would like to thank Mr Leport for his advice and clever 'out of the box' thinking.
