Very Cool Place

We discovered this restaurant by chance and left very impressed. Absolutely brilliant, food was top notch, best I have tasted in a long while, take note Jamies Italian. We also tried the Tiramisu, the waiter said it was the best in the City, I would say best I have ever tasted, outside of Florence. We also all agree, the waiter was the best we have ever seen,!! Hot hot hot... Loved the atmosphere, cosy, rustic and Italian but cool and unpretentious at the same time. Very much looking forward to my return visit on our next girl’s night out. Impressed so far...

This place is the replacement for the much-lamented La Cappanina. We went there last night (a Tuesday) and didnt turn up until gone 10.30pm. They were pleasant and helpful and the food came quickly and was excellent. I had a really good Pizza with Parma Ham and Rucola and my partner had Spaghetti a la Diavolo. Both meals were excellent and the service was friendly, prompt and efficient without being over-zealous or hurried. So far so good - go and try this place! It's quite a way down Cowley Road but certainly a very credible offering.
