  • Shillingford Bridge Hotel A favorite place

    We have stayed twice at this lovely country inn while attending the Henley Regatta. It is an old-fashioned place with honest food and clean, spacious rooms. Some of the locals come for drinks and something to eat at the lounge, which is something that we, as tourists, enjoy greatly. In our second visit we brought a whole rowing crew from the U.S. and had a wonderful time. Breakfast is in the best British tradition. We have stayed at grander places in many countries, but this simple country inn with its views of the Thames and its accomodating walking path is and will stay a favorite. <P></P> <P>
