  Viv Bennett is a really great instructor. His teaching style and method has helped me become a safe and confident driver. My friends and relatives have had good and bad experiences with other instructors so I feel grateful that Viv is a good one! I always enjoyed my lessons with him and I trust his skill in teaching. I passed my test first time. I highly recommend Thames School of Motoring.

• Excellent Instructor

  I was recommended Viv by word of mouth and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone wanting to learn to drive. Viv is a patient teacher, who is very knowledgeable; he knows how to teach and to train you into becoming a good and safe driver. He is very reliable and never missed an appointment; he also has personal integrity and was always very honest with me. I can't really recommend him high enough if you looking for a good driving instructor who will be honest and get you pass your test.

• Brilliant Instructor !

  Viv is so a nice instructor more than I can say. I've learned a lot from him which would benfit me for my life. He is so kind and so patient, who made me a totally fresh learner to pass the test first time. Less pressure, less nervous, just more relaxation, calm and enjoyment ! Thank you very much, Viv ! If you want to learn driving, I would like strongly recommend you Thames School of Motoring !

• Cannot give high enough praise!

  Fantastic. After a bad experience with another instructor, I was very wary of instructors in general. I certainly landed on my feet. Reassuring, professional, certainly capable to say the least! I cannot recommend highly enough.

• Great instructor!

  I recently passed with Viv of Thames School of Motoring. He's encouraging and friendly, making the lessons really enjoyable. Viv is also very patient, happily explaining something until you've understood fully. He is highly reliable and has great integrity. He will give you honest advice based on his vast experience. I feel I have learnt to be a safe and sensible road user under his instruction. Even on moving back to London I continued to commute to Oxford for his lessons! Highly recommended.

  Absolutely excellent instructor. Calm, patient, persistent, helpful, exactly what you need if you're learning to drive. I thoroughly enjoyed the lessons and had the confidence to pass first time. Would definitely recommend him on -- thanks very much!

• Passed test

  A very patient and positive instructor. This was the second driving instructor I had, and what an improvement I made with him. He bought me up to test standard(and better) and with that my confidence. I believe he has made me a good driver with the necessary skills that will stay with me all my driving life. Highly recommended!

• Just passed my test!

  This is an absolutely brilliant instructor. I found him very friendly and patient. He will explain everything until you have a clear understanding. He boosted my driving confidence so much in a very short time that I passed my test on the first go. I would definitely recommend him! Thanks again!
