  I'm getting married in April and my other half and I are in the Royal Navy. The ladies in Wedding Belles are extremely helpful and understanding, with their range of beautiful dresses they have in their store. They have chosen a gorgeous dress that I would have never of though to pick but their knowledge of what dresses suit to your figure really paid off, i look amazing in my dress!! I am a size 16 and was quite conscious of the size of my upper arms and asked to try a bolero on, They did better; They made one for my shape and style of my dress! I came into the shop to try the whole outfit on and I didn't like the length of the arms on the bolero but that wasn't a problem they have taken the bolero off of me and said that they will amend it to my liking and have everything perfect for me before my next appointment. All the way through me picking my dress to last fitting's I have asked for their honest opinions and that's what i have got from them HONESTY! If you don't like being told the truth don't ask! These ladies are exactly what i would class as real women that know what they are talking about and I have really taken on every comment they have given. Really appreciate all your hard work ladies and Thank you for your honesty and making my dress look wonderful for my big day Yours sincerely : )

  my daughters just bought her wedding gown today the lovely ladies of wedding belles were joy to deal with time and advice given without the pushy sales techniques we have been having to deal with from other bridal shops roomy dressing area and all this on a saturday with there sales on. Highly recomend

  Extensive selection of well-priced dresses. Staff happy to help or let you browse. My daughter has yet to choose her dress - we were overhelmed by the amount of stock. Do visit!!! (We tried another store but they didn't have a good selection and the prices were high).

  The shopping experience I had was amazing. The staff are wonderful. I dealt with mostly Carol an Jo who have both been very helpful. I completely disagree with previous comments, they have a range of dresses for every size and style and staff are always there to help. I can't thank them enough for my dresses. xx

  Well as any 16 year old will agree with me prom is a huge part of our lives and the dreaded thought of actually going out and buying a dress all seems a little overwhelming but it must be done!! So what more do you want then lovely people to help choose out your dress, complement you until our heads are swelling with our over large ego and to come out with a simply stunning designer dress :) For all those teenagers out there for an amazing experience buying your dress this shop is a definant go!

  I cannot understand the previous review., my daughter saw the dress she wanted in a bridal magazine and Wedding Belles located it and ordered it in for her. They went to great trouble to be sure it was altered correctly by a clever experienced seamstress and my daughter had quite a few fittings overseen by the owner, who was patient until it was perfect, we found the owner and all of the staff friendly considerate and helpful. For anyone looking to buy their special dress they should not be put off by the previous review. As for Wedding Belles I highly recommend them!!!

  Had my final fitting last week - I was quite nervous - Holly was a star even dealt with my mother. I dont live in the area but so glad I visited. I feel I have a beautiful dress (the right dress!) at a good price and from a nice shop.

  All I have to say is the biggest thank you from the bottom of my heart. The staff are amazing and so friendly, Jean is a star, my mum and I pulled out the same dress but in different colours, and Jean let me try it on there and then, I love it and my mum loved it, got it there and then! great shop just cant wait now to go for the fitting!! Dorrean is amazing too. Thank you for turning a bad day into a fabulous one!!

  went in today with my mum and family friend due to a friends recommendation, i actually went to enquire about having a bodice adjusted and came out with the dress of my dreams! first 1 they picked for me after asking what kind of design i liked! dress was such a bargain and i didnt have an appointment but they accomidated me and even pressed dress and made a slight alteration while i waited! i felt as though they were friends id known for years! didnt want to leave!! i just cannot get across how wonderful they all were and how special they made me feel! thankyou al so much from the bottom of my heart xx

  Extremely welcoming staff . The Manager is an expert in finding you the perfect dress. I first went there for the perfect bridesmaid dress a few years back and then last weekend bought the most perfect Wedding dress at a fraction of the prices seen in other bridal shops. It was a very enjoyable experience, exactly as it should be. Highly recommended!

  Wedding Belles in Banbury has come up trumps for a 2nd time. After I got my perfect wedding dress there for an amazing bargain, and with the best customer service I could imagine, I took a friend there to look for hers. Again, she was made to feel like a Princess, got a brilliant deal and got a christmas prezzie thrown in for free. The manager of the place is the most wonderful lady, she cannot be beaten. Beautidful designer dresses for half the price of other stores.

  i went into wedding bells on the off chance that i would be able to look around, but they said i could try on a few dresses. they were so poilte and understanding that i was on a budget. Carol come in and said i think you should try on this dress and i did and it was purfect. it fitted purfectly and made me feel good due to just having a baby. the girls in the shop were brilliant with my son and the other members of family i brought with me. i would just like to thank them for helping me find the purfect dress. thank you so much wedding bells

  Bought my maggie sottero dress 2 weeks ago.Shop had huge stock–impossible not to find a great dress. Jean was v.helpful despite the shop being really busy-(recommend you make appointments,is clearly v.popular),she made me feel v.welcome and gave honest opinions.The price swung my decision in the end-fab prices for quality gowns.Thanks wedding belles!

  I had heard of bad experiences with wedding belles before going in, so needless to say was apprehensive. The lady in the shop was a little coarse on arrival, and a little reluctant to strap me into dresses unless I really liked them first, but overall really couldn't have been more helpful. CANNOT be beaten on prices too! I ended up buying my gown from here, and looking forward to its arrival!!

  As a bride to be i was unsure what to look for in a wedding dress and what would suit me. I went into Wedding Belles just to look around and get some ideas. I was welcomed very warmly and felt the help i recieved was exceptional. I was kept fully informed about my fitting dates and what would be done. I was so happy with the way i was treated i went back and also ordered my bridesmaids dresses from there as well. I have been back a few times and have never felt more welcome. I would definately recommend shopping here!!!

  I would like to write a comment about my recent visit to Wedding Bells in Banbury. I took my parents along with me just to have a quick look at was available as my original plan was to have a dress made. I will honestly say this turned into an amazing stress-free experience which every bride-to-be hopes for. I was asked if I would like to try on some dresses and what style I was looking for. They chose several dresses in my size for me to try and made me feel so at ease. It was very exciting! They put together the head dress and veil and the results were amazing. My whole perspective changed there and then and although I tried on other varieties, in fact the very first dress I tried was the one for me! Their attention to detail is second to none and nothing is too much trouble. They made me feel so relaxed and enthused by it, I came away feeling like a teenager again! I would recommend them to any new bride-to-be. It was a fantastic stress-free experience. It's a shame I only plan to do this once!!!

  I was extremely surprised to read the previous 2 reviews as my experience was totally the opposite I went into wedding belles just to browse and explained to the owner what I was looking for she showed me several dresses and then sat and went through several books with me until we found what I was looking for she then ordered in a sample for me to see which turned out to be fantastic I had 4 fittings and the same applied to all my bridesmaids we found everyone in the shop very helpful and efficient they also had my shoes and bag dyed to the exact colour of my dress so unlike the previous reviews I would highly recommend wedding belles.

  My daughter has recently got married and we purchased her dress from Wedding Belles, Banbury. The service we received was outstanding, we both found the staff extremely helpful and they bent over backwards for us. I was shocked to read the above reviews and felt that i had to respond. As my daughter and I both work full time we appreciate the fact that their seamstress also does. I certainly wouldnt expect anyone to work 24 hours a day seven days a week just to please me. My daughter had no objection to taking a couple of hours off work to have her fitting done, by the v ery experienced seamstress that they have at Wedding Belles. We are both totally happy, some peoples expectations really amaze me at times.

  My friend suggested this shop which was partly why i went there but to behonest i have regretted the situation. Instead of having any help it seemed like a grab all to me. the lady told me to have a look around the endless stream of dresses. So i did and obviously was meet with a few i liked and i picked out. Yes they were pretty but none stuck out. All i got from the lady was ohh you look lovely darling ( well i would do on a £1000 dress!). What i didnt realise is that i only had a 30 min slot so the poor other bride was sat in the wiating room watching ! So i took the first dress only to regret it and take it back. Of course no refunds so had to have a credit note. When i went back they were practically scolding me like a child for returning the other dress although i knew it was wrong for me. In the end i bought a dress i loved. It needs altering and they couldnt give me an exact price but to be honest i have a £150.00 credit note and i have to use it somehow!

  never have i ever been insulted in ALL my life, i did read you can try on as many dresses as you like, what lies! the owner said i could only try on 2 neither of which were great and then she said i had tried on the best in the shop so tried to push me into buying one i did not want, then to make matters worse this woman said i could have it cheap if i paid now !! and would chuck in a tiara!!! this is my wedding day and she treats her shop like a market stall! my 2 bridesmaids and I were mortified, Take my advice steer clear of Wedding Belles, its Wedding Hells more like !

  I have never known a shop that can be so helpful to get you a dress that looks nice but makes you feel awful about yourself and then once you get the dress they expect you to pay for it if it arrives earlier than they said and before you have even seen it . Then when it comes down to dress fittings they can not give you a standard price for taking up a hem as they do it by the hourly rate. They also only have fittings Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm no late nights, no sundays and no saturdays I dont know about anyone else but I thought this was disgusting most people work 9am - 5pm and can not just take a day holiday for a dress fitting after all they are probably taking there holiday for the honeymoon. I was very disapointed with the lack of customer service from this shop.
