  Visited today with my Daughter, we had had a few experiences before hand with other shops which was not good, we found Carole at Wedding Belles very helpful and knew what she was doing, she was extremely helpful, made my daughter feel at ease and made her feel special.

• Fantastic

  i went into wedding bells on the off chance that i would be able to look around, but they said i could try on a few dresses. they were so poilte and understanding that i was on a budget. Carol come in and said i think you should try on this dress and i did and it was purfect. it fitted purfectly and made me feel good due to just having a baby. the girls in the shop were brilliant with my son and the other members of family i brought with me. i would just like to thank them for helping me find the purfect dress. thank you so much wedding bells

• awfull, rude, pushy, stay clear!!!!

  went in today, tried on a lovely dress, mum was willing to put down a deposit. BUT then it all went wrong......they wanted the full amount for the dress in 2 weeks cos they have no where to store it and when my mum said 2 weeks is not possible ALL 3 OF THEM started being very pushy and rude. all they kept doing was acting like they were doing me a favour. left angry and upset and of course NOT getting the dress. was not going to let my mum be bullied like that. never has such bad experiance dress shopping. stay well clear!

• Great!

  Bought my maggie sottero dress 2 weeks ago.Shop had huge stock–impossible not to find a great dress. Jean was v.helpful despite the shop being really busy-(recommend you make appointments,is clearly v.popular),she made me feel v.welcome and gave honest opinions.The price swung my decision in the end-fab prices for quality gowns.Thanks wedding belles!

• can't be beaten

  I had heard of bad experiences with wedding belles before going in, so needless to say was apprehensive. The lady in the shop was a little coarse on arrival, and a little reluctant to strap me into dresses unless I really liked them first, but overall really couldn't have been more helpful. CANNOT be beaten on prices too! I ended up buying my gown from here, and looking forward to its arrival!!

• New Brides

  As a bride to be i was unsure what to look for in a wedding dress and what would suit me. I went into Wedding Belles just to look around and get some ideas. I was welcomed very warmly and felt the help i recieved was exceptional. I was kept fully informed about my fitting dates and what would be done. I was so happy with the way i was treated i went back and also ordered my bridesmaids dresses from there as well. I have been back a few times and have never felt more welcome. I would definately recommend shopping here!!!

• Amazing Experience

  I would like to write a comment about my recent visit to Wedding Bells in Banbury. I took my parents along with me just to have a quick look at was available as my original plan was to have a dress made. I will honestly say this turned into an amazing stress-free experience which every bride-to-be hopes for. I was asked if I would like to try on some dresses and what style I was looking for. They chose several dresses in my size for me to try and made me feel so at ease. It was very exciting! They put together the head dress and veil and the results were amazing. My whole perspective changed there and then and although I tried on other varieties, in fact the very first dress I tried was the one for me! Their attention to detail is second to none and nothing is too much trouble. They made me feel so relaxed and enthused by it, I came away feeling like a teenager again! I would recommend them to any new bride-to-be. It was a fantastic stress-free experience. It's a shame I only plan to do this once!!!

• Great customer service

  I was extremely surprised to read the previous 2 reviews as my experience was totally the opposite I went into wedding belles just to browse and explained to the owner what I was looking for she showed me several dresses and then sat and went through several books with me until we found what I was looking for she then ordered in a sample for me to see which turned out to be fantastic I had 4 fittings and the same applied to all my bridesmaids we found everyone in the shop very helpful and efficient they also had my shoes and bag dyed to the exact colour of my dress so unlike the previous reviews I would highly recommend wedding belles.

• Mother of A Bride

  My daughter has recently got married and we purchased her dress from Wedding Belles, Banbury. The service we received was outstanding, we both found the staff extremely helpful and they bent over backwards for us. I was shocked to read the above reviews and felt that i had to respond. As my daughter and I both work full time we appreciate the fact that their seamstress also does. I certainly wouldnt expect anyone to work 24 hours a day seven days a week just to please me. My daughter had no objection to taking a couple of hours off work to have her fitting done, by the v ery experienced seamstress that they have at Wedding Belles. We are both totally happy, some peoples expectations really amaze me at times.

• Returns and problems

  My friend suggested this shop which was partly why i went there but to behonest i have regretted the situation. Instead of having any help it seemed like a grab all to me. the lady told me to have a look around the endless stream of dresses. So i did and obviously was meet with a few i liked and i picked out. Yes they were pretty but none stuck out. All i got from the lady was ohh you look lovely darling ( well i would do on a £1000 dress!). What i didnt realise is that i only had a 30 min slot so the poor other bride was sat in the wiating room watching ! So i took the first dress only to regret it and take it back. Of course no refunds so had to have a credit note. When i went back they were practically scolding me like a child for returning the other dress although i knew it was wrong for me. In the end i bought a dress i loved. It needs altering and they couldnt give me an exact price but to be honest i have a £150.00 credit note and i have to use it somehow!
